Earth's climate results from a combinations of inticate, interwoven
causes and effects or feedback loops. Balancing feed back loops
tend to keep things in equilibrium. For every change in one direction
there is a change in the opposite direction to cansul the effect,
or to keep things in balance. In climate, the sun evaporates some
water from the earth's surface which vapourizes and rises only
to condense and fall.

In reinforcing loops or positive feedback loops a change in direction
causes more change in the same direction. For example, if the temperature
begins to drop, the amount of precipitation increases, glaciers
form, albedo ( the reflection of heat energy into space) increases,
and the temperature drops even more, and so on.
