Our School Yard Mentor
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Mentors aid teachers with the implementation of Our School Yard into the classroom. Our School Yard is a program that provides students with hands-on environmental learning opportunities through measuring tree biodiversity in schoolyards. This position will require the volunteer to make connections with the teachers in various highschools and to be flexible as the hours are in the day.
Work location: Secondary Schools in the Peel/Halton area
Start and End Date: September 2006-June 2007
Time Commitment per month: 8-12 hours
Training Session: August 28th-August 30th, 2006.
