Let's Plant - Measure and Mulch

Fall Field Season: October 1-22, 2008

Come join us in the Field!

ACER offers teachers and environment clubs a unique chance to relate science to technology, society and the environment at our Outdoor Climate Change Laboratory located at the Humber Arboretum.

"Let’s Plant, Measure and Mulch!" provides a unique opportunity for students to broaden their understanding of scientific investigation through research field trips.

Students, beginning with Grade 6, are encouraged to participate and relate their experience to the fields of geography, mathematics, science and technology, environmental or world issues and biology.

Our fall season of measuring and mulching program lasts the first three weeks of October. All programs are full-day activities.

Teacher Orientation Workshops are given by ACER volunteers in the plot at Humber Arboretum on the North Humber College Campus. Contact us at info@acer-acre.org for more information.

We invite you to sign up your class or club to join us this fall!

A travel subsidy is available to all participating schools to assist with bus costs.

To register your class or to reserve a spot at the workshop, please download this form and email it to info@acer-acre.org.
