Volunteers

ACER is an incorporated not-for-profit organization founded in 1987. Members are leaders in education, media and business who initiate and faciliate development, production and promotion of Canadian materials to meet the needs of to-day's learners.

ACER encourages interested individuals, students, families, friends and groups looking for team building opportunities to volunteer. ACER is sustained through the hardwork and dedication of its many volunteers.

Why should you volunteer with ACER:
-Learn about environmental issues, and help out an important cause.
-Spend time with nice people out of doors while working for your community
-Explore career interests and expand your resume
-Gain valuable experience in leadership and environmental education
-Earn mandatory volunteer hours for applicable provinces

Training sessions are provided.

NOTE: All volunteers who plan to work with students are required to submit a current written Police Record Check report.
